It's always funny...they're such good upstanding people, the first the local boards back up. Maybe I have a twisted sense of humor.
When I first began advocating for families, it always struck me as really strange how I'd get a number of 'red flags' popping up in my mind when meeting some people. Over the last three years most of those have left the ranks, either through attrition or being caught up openly in their game playing.
The fact is unless you have solid proof and evidence against someone, nobody will take you seriously. In most cases when even having 'the dirt', it's necessary to take it 'outside the circle' for anything to be done. Many people would rather keep quiet rather than disturb 'the machine'.
That makes me feel so bad for the principal who'll have to find someone to fill a recent job opening.
