12+ respond to traffic stopper in the streets of Jacksonville

No, this isn't a slam on Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Nor on the person driving the little red car. Witnesses were overheard giving statements to police that the man pictured here appeared to intentionally jump on the hood of a stopped vehicle that was just prior rear ended by a white van that fled the scene after this 'victim' was pointed at by dozens of onlookers.

From daylight until the sun went down, police worked this accident scene to it's close. No identity was found of the victim, nor of any blood on the asphalt or vehicle in question when I personally inspected both during and after the police cleared the area after 6:10pm.

The sad thing? The person who was driving the red car is actually a nurse known to me and part of the same agency I've been advocating for three years.

That's ironic.

On any given month Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responds to hundreds of calls involving homeless people stating the need for emergency care. In my personal experience I can say that 90% of those I've seen firsthand are fraudulent.

Not saying that this person isn't faking it...or that he's homeless. Advocating for homeless is one thing. This...is another. Hopefully he got help for whatever his problem is.
