Contest Coming Within 24 Hours

I took a lot of time in considering what I could offer in a contest that was in lines with the theme of the blog. An extended stay in a homeless shelter? Extra servings of grits if you stood in line at a meal line? Something that was useful, like a pair of extra socks?

...didn't those socks always seem to be either the wrong size or for the opposite sex when we got them?

Honestly, the prize someone's going to win will be something they'll be able to use daily in their life.

Who else better than me to know what people really need?
