Jags/Texans: 37-17...this game was blacked out?

We're all back from one of the best games I've seen in a long time. Granted, some say goofs happened everywhere, but there were some excellent turn arounds in my book.

The family had a blast, a little sunburn and some special attention for the kids from the Roar, Jacksonville's Cheerleaders always make time to visit with the kids weekly in the Honor Rows section. All the kids; hundreds of them totalling in number; were well behaved as usual and a gift to chaperone for me, my wife, and other adults this week.

This game the Star Spangeled Banner was signed by a young local girl and played by a Coast Guard Academy Band, with a flyover...very close flyover...from a Naval jet. Each time the Jaguars made a touchdown, fireworks would go off over our heads directly above the kids when it was confirmed.

The kids got a kick out of the calls being challenged...the posted score would either give their team more points, as well as seeing the Texan's have points taken off the scoreboard in front of everyone.

Highpoint for my youngest daughter: going to the bathroom and coming back in an elevator. Jaxson DeVille; the Jaguars' mascot; got in and bumped her playfully with his hip.
