Your keyboard should be felt and touched

If you've been taught to touchtype, start curling your fingers right. Just like the old days when we were taught how to sit, keyboards still come with the 'F' 'J' home row keys and '5' numeric pad key with a raised dash or dot.

Simply sit down without looking at the keyboard, close your eyes, and put your fingers on the keys. It'll take a second to get back to home row without looking by just moving the one index finger until the 'J' is found.

Do this regularly and you'll increase speed and productivity at both home and office environments by being more confident...and wondering if Ms. Beeswax is about to yell at your for looking at the keyboard.

The one advantage we've got over school marms today...modding them into our favorite first person shooter and goin' after 'em with a plasma cutter.
Gotta have a hobby!
