Music: Run To The Hills

When I first heard Iron Maiden's hit, I didn't hear what many friends did. I heard some of what my Aunt Alberta related to me in my youth. She was never accepted into my uncle and father's family from the start, being 'a dirty injun'.

She's the person who offerred me my first taste of dandylion wine while on leave my first time home as a soldier. She's the person who directed the rest of the family from a chair while she managed the building of the most beautiful home and cabin I know of. She's the person who taught me so much may have been lost in history books, but should never be forgotten.

The funny thing...she's the only person I know of who saw her skin as I did. The rare occurrence of a woman being colorblind genetically.

If she wasn't told she was an indian when she was young, she probably would have sworn she was polish with her stubbornness.

Love ya, 'TeePee Mama'. This is a special rendition of the song. Please listen to it.
