Give Up Your Car To A Worthy Cause

Almost a decade ago; while I was working for one of America's Fortune 500s; I got caught in a position of having a car that wasn't honestly worth keeping at the time. Our residence didn't allow multiple vehicle parking in a one slot space, and it wasn't worth the cost of maintaining in an enclosed storage unit.

At the time I resorted to contacting a wrecker service, since none of the people I knew wanted to touch it. I watched it pulled down the road, with a handful of tens in my pocket.

Had I known about Los Angeles Car Donations, I could have done better. They operate an agency that works nationally to match individuals with vehicles; running, mind you; with the means to get the vehicle out of their hair...with a nice receipt for tax write off purposes no less! Not from the driver, but from online while setting things up...if I'm not mistaken.

...and usually, I'm not!

This agency does a number of things from the proceeds it receives after reselling donated items, from outreach of children in need worldwide to ministering to prisoners within the United States and assist in the rehabilitative paths.

Granted, not everyone wants to help someone who's been judged a criminal. That's why this agency in particular allows

Going further, I also noticed that they put together Free DVDs for Kids that are faith based. Lot of effort's gone into them, just from what I see of how they were put together on their page.
