Long weekend this time around with getting everyone ready for tomorrow. Last December's move into a different neighborhood only caused one of our children to change schools. That instance isn't a problem since it's also the school my mother graduated from, so my oldest daughter is really excited.
It's ironic the pull this City had on me having never laid foot in it until I was in my twenties, much like salmon returning to spawn. Even when learning the places, sections, and neighborhoods I've always felt more comfortable here than other locations I've called home before.
Off to Walmart; of all places; in search of last minute things necessary.
