Site Review: Blogging Tools: Emailing Your Posts To Readers

It's 'Tutor Time With JohnC' again, kids!

Not every blogger has all the abilities you see in some of the 'powerblogger' arsenals, like email marketing of their posts. It's a good option to offer visitors that prefer 'old school' subscribing, just like we used to do with message forums years ago.

Looking over Zookoda showed me things have come a ways. The company gives much more flexibility and control than prior generations of mail list programs and services, and it's geared specifically for bloggers. Whether you want to schedule and broadcast, work on presentation, or check if your readers are keeping, reading, or dropping you...this service gives you the tools.
It's like Analytics meets Word meets Mail Program.
In terms of cost, they've got it covered. It's free. No sign of hidden upgrade charges I can find. Most of all, if you want to try your hand elsewhere, they offer the ability of exporting your contacts in an Excel format.
That says a lot in my book.
There are a couple of things though that you'll need.
    A blog.
    An email account.
That's it from what I can see. Check them out yourself, paying attention to their 'About' and 'FAQ' pages that offer pretty much all the information you'll need to make an informed decision if this is a resource you want to include in your site.
