One of the cooler 'gear types' to come out of technology this last decade has been anything you can have as a coffee table conversation piece. Cool doesn't always pass the test of time though, unless it adds to it's existing surroundings. Years ago I would have looked at this as unrealistic, since most companies required desktop software to handle settings. This digital photo frame I'm looking at...I'll be able to actually walk in my door, plop in my SD card from my camera, and relax on the couch rather than be a slave to my PC...just to show off what I saw during my day to my kids.
