Not realizing how well I've been doing

Just went over my budget through the end of the year using Quicken 2007. Having two people handling funds in a liquid form; and not tracking; has always been a problem.

Yes, ickiness times just like any other couple.

Looking over things and realizing how we've adjusted in not spending impulsively, I'm considering...considering is the word...looking into a vehicle...if...the trend I'm seeing in numbers continues for the next two months.

Weird feeling. Much of it has to do with being 'settled' more so in my life, due to the Trileptal to handle the Bipolar impulses. The last month has brought a few instances where in the past I would have gotten paranoid, as opposed to what I've been feeling in terms of knowing things have been handled appropriately.

Then again, maybe a vehicle isn't the wisest choice. Granted it'd help with lowering the amounts of commute time to/from work as well as the obvious uses it bring. Still undecided in many ways. In the end a vehicle; and God help me, a MINIVAN in our case; would mean the worst possible scenario for a grown man:
